30 March 2022 from 14:00 - 17:00 (CEST / GMT+2)
Open meeting - HYBRID
Room: 2.072
Session Abstract:
This meeting will involve discussion on Indigenous-centered approaches to research, including Indigenous methodologies, and allyship, and equity in research involving Indigenous homelands. Facilitated discussion will explore how to engage with Indigenous approaches to empirical and nonempirical research, and how Indigenous worldviews may be more broadly supported in the environmental sciences. Understanding environmental change is inherently collaborative and interdisciplinary, so this meeting aims to bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous scholars, community leaders, scientists, and specialists from a variety of backgrounds and geographies.
Session Organizer:
Victoria Buschman, Stanislav Ksenofentov, and Megan Sheremata
