Session Description:
The rate at which new challenges are emerging in the Arctic requires quick and decisive action. With this in mind, the U.S. Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee will provide an overview of the initial implementation of the Arctic Research Plan 2022-2026. This community meeting will share the objectives and deliverables for the next two years of federally led Arctic research in the topics of Community Resilience and Health, Arctic Systems Interactions, Sustainable Economies and Livelihoods, and Risk Management and Hazard Mitigation. The research community will have the opportunity to learn how they can engage in implementation of the Arctic Research Plan through the IARPC Collaborations website and other platforms.
