Open Session - HYBRID
Room: Senatssaal
Session Conveners: Maribeth Murray (Arctic Institute of North America, University of Calgary)
Session Description:
This workshop is focused ways in which genomics can support environmental decision making, conservation and maintenance of biodiversity, and Arctic observing. Genomics is under-utilized due to a number of challenges, not the least of which is the accessibility of information to non-experts. Through co-design and co-execution of research with potential end users of such information this workshop will focus on establish methods and platforms to mobilize results from genomic surveys and research activities on Arctic wildlife species (marine mammals, ungulates, seabirds, fish) and their pathogens.
