Session Description:
INTERACT, with its legal entity INPA (INTERACT Non-Profit Association), is a circumarctic network of terrestrial research stations linking local scale observations and international science and governance organisations. INTERACT is building capacity for identifying, understanding, predicting and responding to diverse environmental changes in the Arctic. INTERACT is also working to improve the research and observing capacity of the Arctic by offering access for excellent research through its Transnational Access (TA) program. The program has been running for over a decade and the session reports how has TA contributed to achieving the ICARPIII targets and how it can help to shape the future research priorities for ICARPIV to achieve impactful and sustainable research in the Arctic.

- Panel discussion (45 min): Legacy and impact of INTERACT Transnational Access in relation to ICARP III priorities - Envisioning the future directions for ICARP IV
