24 March 2025 | 10:30 - 12:00 (MST)
Open Session - ON-SITE ONLY
Room: UMC Third Floor - 384
Organiser: Jackie Dawson (University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada)
Event Description:
Led by the Arctic Pulse National Committee (APNC), this open side meeting will provide the opportunity for the international polar research community to learn about Arctic Pulse. Arctic Pulse will endorse cutting-edge research projects investigating cascading environmental effects across the Canadian Arctic using assets ranging from outer space to the deep sea, from in-land to coasts and across major knowledge disciplines and systems. This Canadian-led science initiative will bring together international Arctic scientists, government partners, academic institutions, non-profit and Indigenous organizations to address science gaps and questions that will inform the next International Polar Year (IPY). The session will begin with an introduction to Arctic Pulse followed by a Q&A and guided dialogue.
