Session Abstract:
The session will present selected results from INTAROS project, which has recently been completed. The the objective of INTAROS has been to develop, improve and extend Arctic observing systems for atmosphere, ocean, cryosphere and terrestrial sciences with focus on in situ systems (www.intaros.eu, https://intaros.nersc.no). The produced and disseminated through the project are accessible in the INTAROS data catalogue (https://catalog-intaros.nersc.no/ ). The project has also contributed to strengthen community-based observing programmes which are designed to support the needs of local communities in different parts of the Circumpolar Arctic. INTAROS has included work effort by about 200 scientists from 49 organisations in 20 countries.
