The ASSW 2024 Business and Community Meetings are scheduled from 21 - 26 March 2024. The entire Arctic (science) community is encouraged to use ASSW as a venue for bringing together their organisations, collaborations, and teams for annual meetings, workshops and other events.
The Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) was initiated by the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC) in 1999 to provide opportunities for coordination, cooperation and collaboration between the various scientific organisations involved in Arctic research and to economise on travel and time. ASSW is now an annual venue for meetings of Arctic organisations, scientific collaborations, and more.
During ASSW 2024 there will be six main days (21 - 26 March) dedicated to
- meetings
- workshops
- other events
If necessary, a limited number of events can also take place during the Arctic Observing Summit 2024 (27 - 29 March).
ASSW 2024 organizers will provide the logistical support and your meeting attendees only have to register for ASSW 2024 and show up. As ASSW 2024 will be organised as a hybrid conference, opportunities for on-site and online meetings will be offered during the conference.
The application deadline is 30 September 2023. A draft program is expected to be ready later in November 2023.
The call for ASSW 2024 Business and Community Meetings will open in late April 2023.
