The Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) 2025 invites organizations, corporations, and philanthropists to become sponsors of this important gathering for the Arctic. Taking place in Boulder, Colorado (USA) from 20-28 March 2025, ASSW 2025 will bring together leading Arctic researchers, Indigenous representatives, policy-makers, and other interested parties to address critical challenges facing the Arctic region and its role in the global system.
Importantly, ASSW 2025 will host the Fourth International Conference on Arctic Research Planning (ICARP IV), to engage the international community on critical topics and priorities for the next decade of Arctic research. By honoring different knowledge systems and recognizing the key leadership roles that Indigenous Peoples have in shaping Arctic research, ICARP IV aims to advance collaborative research in the North as we look to the fifth International Polar Year in 2032/33.
Sponsorship of ASSW 2025 provides a unique opportunity to align your organization with leading scientific innovation, international initiatives to better understand the rapidly changing Arctic, and efforts to advance Arctic sustainability and equitable research practices.
By supporting this summit, your organization will be recognized as a key partner, offering visibility for your organization to a diverse international audience. See the perks for different contribution levels in the table below.

Guidelines for Sponsorship: Our Commitment to Ethical, Social and Environmental Responsibilities
Using the guidelines below, the ASSW 2025 Local Organizing Committee (LOC) will determine if sponsorship partnerships are appropriate for ASSW 2025 by considering our commitments to ethical, social, and environmental responsibilities. The LOC will regularly review our guidelines to make necessary revisions or updates.
The LOC reserves the right to refuse sponsorship when there may be misalignment (or perceived misalignment) of interests between the interested organization and ASSW 2025.
Our sponsorship guidelines include:
- Mutual benefit: We are committed to ensuring that sponsorship agreements are mutually beneficial but do not compromise the independence of our respective organizations. The relationship should support shared objectives without allowing the sponsor to unduly influence ASSW 2025 planning, operations, or reputation.
- Transparency and Accountability: We are committed to ensuring that all sponsorship activities are transparent and publicly disclosed. This includes providing full information about the amount of the financial contributions and any conditions or terms of the sponsorship.
- Environmental Responsibility: We aim to partner with sponsors who are committed to minimizing environmental impacts and promoting sustainable practices.
- Social Impact and Corporate Responsibility: We aim to partner with sponsors who contribute positively to social and environmental well-being and who have a strong commitment to corporate responsibility, including policies and actions that demonstrate ethical behavior, sustainability, and positive societal impact. This means partnering with companies that engage in responsible marketing, community engagement, and support for societal causes.
- Integrity and equity in supporting different knowledge systems: We aim to partner with sponsors who recognize the importance of supporting integrity and equity within research, and who recognize the complementary value and independence of different knowledge systems and disciplines.
