Event Description:
The Arctic research community has become more attuned to the need to promote positive changes in its research practices and increase cultural inclusion through organisational change. There are many examples of community activities in this space, and new funding calls that support new ways of working. Nonetheless, our organisations still lack cohesive ways of supporting sustained change.
In this community session we'd like to share the approach that we are proposing for the UK Arctic research community, and discuss how different international settings are working to develop better research practices and codes of conduct that explain and enforce expectations for the broader research community.
Our session is meant as an informal knowledge exchange to ignite conversations in this space, and show support to the whole Arctic research community with inclusive approaches to its future.
