As Arctic research continues to expand, it is crucial to center Indigenous voices, knowledge, and leadership in shaping the future of scientific and community-driven inquiry. This session brings together Indigenous scholars, community leaders, and researchers to discuss research priorities, pathways for collaboration, knowledge co-production, and the integration of Indigenous methodologies in Arctic research.
Through interactive dialogue, participants will explore pathways for ensuring Indigenous representation in research governance, ethical considerations, and strategies for long-term partnerships. The session will conclude with a discussion on actionable steps for fostering a more unified Indigenous Arctic research voice.
