Session Description:
This workshop brings together contributing authors of the special issue initiated by the Arctic Council Working Groups AMAP (Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme) and CAFF (Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna). The issue focuses on synthesizing current knowledge of climate impacts and feedbacks across Arctic marine, coastal, freshwater, and terrestrial ecosystems where biodiversity and climate feed-backs meet and with a particular emphasis on the interface between these systems.
The workshop will serve as a platform to discuss conceptual frameworks, identify knowledge gaps, and ex-plore how the collective findings can inform policy and management decisions.
