Open Session - HYBRID

Room: Mødelokale 2.2

Organiser: Daniel Ritchie (PlanIt North, Canada)

Session Description:

Rapid environmental change is accelerating riverbed erosion across Canada’s Arctic, threatening ecosystems, infrastructure, and Indigenous land use. This workshop explores the pivotal role of a project coordinator in bridging science and community planning — from managing remote fieldwork and integrating Indigenous knowledge to translating hydrological data into practical mitigation strategies. Through real-world examples, participants will examine the logistical, cultural, and governance challenges of erosion and explore how social and cultural values impact efforts.
