Session Description:
This interdisciplinary meeting aims to bring together observationalists and modellers to present results, exchange knowledge and identify critical research questions within the broad theme of Arctic climate studies. A large but underexplored potential lies at the intersection of observations and models with the aim to improve data interpretation as well as model capabilities. We invite participants from a wide range of methodological backgrounds - from marine sediment cores, in-situ observations and numerical models - and research topics include paleo studies, modern day climate and future projections.
