Session Description:
This session provides an informal opportunity to explore the principles, practice and future development of UK-Greenland research collaboration. Speakers will cover:
- Setting the scene on UK-Greenland collaboration – Henry Burgess, UK Arctic Office & Anne Laugesen, UK Science and Technology Network
- An introduction to Greenland’s research strategy, legislation and guidelines – speaker details tbc
- First public presentation and demonstration of the new UK-Greenland Arctic Data Portal – Lisa Leggett, Polar Data Centre, British Antarctic Survey
- Additional practical examples of joint UK-Greenland approaches to research – speaker details tbc
The session will conclude with an open discussion.
