ASSW 2025 Program
ASSW 2025 will be held in Boulder, Colorado, USA from 20 - 28 March 2025 and includes
- ASSW 2025 Community Meetings and Workshops (20 - 24 March 2025): This part of ASSW 2025 includes meetings, workshops and other events of several Arctic organisations and projects. The entire Arctic community is encouraged to use ASSW as a venue for bringing together their organisations, collaborations, and teams. ASSW 2025 organizers will provide the logistical support and your meeting attendees only have to register for ASSW 2025 and show up. As ASSW 2025 will be organised as a hybrid conference, opportunities for on-site and online meetings will be offered during the conference. We are still accepting late meeting proposals as long as space is still available. Meeting proposal can be submitted via this application form.
- ICARP IV Summit (25 - 28 March 2025) “Arctic Research Planning for the Next Decade”: The ASSW 2025 will include the Fourth International Conference on Arctic Research Planning (ICARP IV) Summit. This is the summative event of the ICARP IV process, which is a multi-year effort that began in 2022 to engage the international community on critical topics and priorities for Arctic research in the next 10 years. The Summit will engage Arctic researchers, Indigenous Peoples, policymakers, and other interested parties from around the world, serving as a crucial milestone for shaping the Fifth International Polar Year in 2032–33. The ICARP IV Summit will provide an opportunity to discuss and consult on the initial outcomes of the seven ICARP IV Research Priority Teams.
