The Indigenous Pavilion at ASSW 2026 will be a dedicated space for gathering, dialogue, and knowledge exchange throughout the conference.
Building on the Indigenous Pavilion initiative first established at ASSW in Boulder, CO, the pavilion in Aarhus will host a range of activities that foreground Indigenous perspectives, relational approaches, and alternative ways of sharing knowledge. The space is intended to complement the formal conference program by creating opportunities for conversation, reflection, and connection across disciplines, communities, and experiences.
The Indigenous Pavilion will be hosted in a Lavvu provided by Nomad Food Lab, drawing on Indigenous architectural traditions that emphasize circularity, hospitality, and shared presence. The setting supports both structured activities and more informal encounters, inviting participants to spend time, meet others, and engage in ongoing dialogue during the Summit.
